アルバムタイトル、Disc1に関して
さて2年5ヶ月ぶりにアルバムが出ますモーニング娘。の「モーニング娘。ベストセレクション〜The 25周年〜」に関して、お話してみたいと思います。
まずはタイトル。
ベスト盤のタイトルなんて、だいたい定型パターンの中のどれかでしょ！？
なんて思われがちですが、一般的なアルバムのタイトルの方が、個性を強調すればプロ的な感覚として「なんかいい感じ！」に出来そうな気がするんですが、
ベスト盤（これって日本的発想だとは思いますが）のタイトルって
・「ベスト盤」ってわかってもらうこと。
・過去にベスト盤をいくつか出しているなら、タイトルで他との明確な違いを出す。
・出来れば、タイトルの中に今作の特別感を入れたい。
というようなことが求められます。
・曲数を記載する。
・全ての総尺時間を記載する。
・何枚組なのか？
や、
・何年〜何年頃の作品集だ！
・全部オリジナル作品の羅列なのか。
・歌い直しが混じっている。
・トラックダウンをし直した。
・アレンジに違いがある。
というような情報をどこまでタイトルに組み込むかというようなことも考えるわけで、
まあ、今回はめちゃ悩みました。
何個タイトル候補を書いたことか・・・（笑）
もう一つ情報を加えるなら
・リーダーでもある譜久村聖がメンバーとして所属する最後のアルバムとなるでしょう
ってことが含まれますね。
で、もろもろを考慮したあげく、今回のベストアルバムのタイトルは！！！
「モーニング娘。ベストセレクション〜The 25周年〜」
ということで、
・新たにセレクトさせてもらいました。
・25周年です。
・モーニング娘。のベストだ。
という情報を詰め込ませていただきました。。
今回は2枚組。
Disc1 全13曲
Disc2 全13曲
の合計26曲！！
これ、すごくない！？
ちなみにDisc1には、なんと！書きおろしのオリジナル新曲が3曲入っております！

Disc1に関しては
ここ最近の譜久村加入後の新生モーニング娘。のシングル楽曲からの
ベストチョイス。ざっくり解説すると、
「Swing Swing Paradise」
「Happy birthday to Me!」
「Chu Chu Chu 僕らの未来」
「大・人生 Never Been Better!」
「Teenage Solution」
「よしよししてほしいの」
「ビートの惑星」
の７曲は、シングル発売時のオリジナル原盤のまんまを収録。
なので、あの時のあの空気感をそのまま楽しんでいただけると思います。
そして、
「What is LOVE？(23 Ver.)」も全メロディーパートを現メンバーで各々再レコーディングし、トラックダウンし直し完成させました。（バックトラック素材はオリジナル音源です！）
ということで、これ読んでるだけでも、だいぶんテンションあがると思われます「モーニング娘。ベストセレクション〜The 25周年〜」。
正直、本来のベスト盤なら、
サクサクと選曲してオリジナルトラックをちゃちゃちゃ〜っと並べて、新写真でも撮っちゃえば、まあ低予算で仕上がっちゃうんですが・・・
手をかけて、愛情もたっぷりかけちゃいました（笑）。
メンバーたちも再録音も新録音も含めて、めちゃ気合い入れてくれましたよ！

About the Album Title and Disc 1
After 2 years and 5 months, a new album is being released! Let’s talk about Morning Musume’s "Morning Musume. Best Selection The 25th Anniversary."
First, the Title
When it comes to best-of album titles, people might think,
“Isn’t it just one of those standard patterns?”
Sure, with a regular album title, you can emphasize individuality and make it feel like, "Wow, that’s cool!" But with a best-of album (a concept that feels particularly Japanese), the title needs to:
Make it clear that it’s a "best-of" album.
Stand out distinctly if there have been previous best-of albums.
Ideally, include something special about this particular release.
You also need to think about how much information to pack into the title, like:
The number of tracks.
Total runtime.
How many discs.
What era the songs are from.
Whether it’s purely a collection of original works.
If there are re-recorded tracks.
If the tracks have been remastered or rearranged.
This time, I really struggled with the title—how many title ideas did I write down? (Haha!)
Another key point to consider:
This will likely be the last album featuring Mizuki Fukumura as a member and leader.

"Morning Musume. Best Selection The 25th Anniversary"
We packed in these elements:
It’s a carefully curated selection.
It’s celebrating the 25th anniversary.
It’s clearly a best-of album from Morning Musume.
About the Album
It’s a two-disc set, with 26 tracks in total (13 on each disc). Amazing, right?
Disc 1 even includes three brand-new original songs! Yeah, that’s awesome!

Disc 1 is essentially a "best choice" selection of singles from the current era of Morning Musume. after Fukumura Mizuki joined. Here’s a brief rundown:

These seven tracks are included in their original versions, just as they were when the singles were released. You’ll be able to relive the atmosphere of those moments.
Additionally:
What is LOVE? (23 Ver.) has been re-recorded by the current members for all melody parts. The track was remixed while keeping the original backing track.
Even just reading about it gets the excitement going, doesn’t it? For a true best-of album, you could just quickly pick songs, line them up with original tracks, take some new photos, and keep costs low...
But we’ve poured so much effort and love into this one (haha).
The members were incredibly motivated for both re-recordings and new recordings.
