Kokoro | What am I doing? |
Kokoro | ...No, don't be spineless, this is for Momohime's sake! I can do it! |
Kokoro | I WILL do it!!! |
Kokoro | Ah, she's back. Here goes nothing. |
Momohime | Hi! Alright, alright! This is my brown sugar bubble tea, and a less sweet bubble tea for Kokoro-kun! |
Momohime | Drink up~! |
Kokoro | BUBBLE TEA?! ....Tch... Bubble tea's for shmucks! |
Momohime | All of a sudden?! Eh...huh...oh? What's going on? Panic, panic, manic panic! |
Momohime | What's going on, all of a sudden? |
Kokoro | I-I'm sayin' I hate bubble tea! Grr! |
Momohime | Huh? |
Momohime | But, Kokoro, you were the one said we should get bubble tea. |
Kokoro | What the hell are ya askin', ya dumb broad! Did ya really think I meant it when I said "Let's drink bubble tea on our way to the amusement park"?! Seriously, that's what I hate about ya! |
Momohime | I'm...sorry, I guess. |
Kokoro | No...I'm the one who should be sorry.... |
Momohime | Eh? |
Kokoro | DID YA THINK I'D SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT? Yer a real annoying broad! |
Momohime | But I think I get it! |
Kokoro | Huh? |
Momohime | I get how you feel, Kokoro! There's people who go into hysterics just by having something they hate in front of them! |
Momohime | My grandma was like that. I've never seen an old person get that angry over shiitake mushrooms, and I probably never will again! |
Momohime | You're in the same boat as my grandma! |
Kokoro | I ain't takin' a boat with yer gramma! |
Momohime | Speaking of which, my mom can't stand pickled shallots. |
Kokoro | WHO ASKED?! |
Momohime | So when we have curry at my house, we eat it with Nara pickles. |
Kokoro | Just have fukujinzuke! |
Momohime | My dad hates fukujinzuke. |
Kokoro | Just don't eat curry then! |
Momohime | What's going on with you? You're acting so weird all of a sudden. It's like you suddenly changed your character... |
Kokoro | Save your sleep talk for when you sleep, you... goodie-good! |
Momohime | Did I... do something that upset you, Kokoro? |
Kokoro | Uu....she's so cute.... |
Momohime | I guess I must have hurt your feelings somehow... |
Kokoro | Be strong, Kokoro... |
Momohime | You know, everyday, my head is filled with thoughts of you, Kokoro! |
Kokoro | Uughh.... |
Momohime | And, I really want you to always be smiling! |
Kokoro | THAT'S MY LINE! |
Kokoro | God... it's that part of you! That's why! |
Momohime | What part of me? I don't understand... |
Kokoro | Argh! You just don't get it!!! |
Momohime | I think, maybe... we should be apart for today... |
Momohime | I'm going home. |
Kokoro | Until now, I've never felt this much pain in my heart. |

Notes[]
- ^ In Japanese, Momohime said Kokoro was "the same as" or "together with" her grandmother, and Kokoro remarked on it sounding like Okaasan to Issho.
- ^ Japanese curry is usually served with either pickled shallots, called rakkyo or fukujinzuke, a type of assorted vegetable pickle. The pickles Momohime's family serves with pickles are Narazuke, a type of pickle made from both fruit and vegetables.
